Is the star map based on real astronomy?
Yes. The map uses astronomical catalog data and the submitted birthplace and moment. The final composition is artistic: projection, density, labels, colors, and constellation lines are design choices rather than a navigational chart.
What if I do not know the exact birth time?
You can choose “I don’t know.” We will clearly treat the time as approximate, which means the horizon-oriented sky cannot be as precise as a design made with an exact time.
Can I order using a future due date?
Yes. Due dates up to one year in the future are supported and marked as provisional. If the actual birth details change, you will need to create a new design.
Can I change details after ordering?
Email us immediately. Because orders move into a custom production workflow, changes are not guaranteed after payment or production begins.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship physical products within the United States. Standard U.S. shipping is included in the physical product price.
How long will my order take?
Production and delivery estimates are shown during checkout. Custom printing and carrier conditions can affect timing, so those dates are estimates rather than guarantees.
Can I return a personalized piece?
Custom physical artwork and digital downloads are final sale. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 14 days with your order number and photographs so we can make it right.
Will I receive tracking?
For physical products, tracking will be shared when the fulfillment partner and carrier make it available.
How is tax calculated?
Applicable tax is estimated and collected through Stripe based on the information entered during checkout and the registrations active for Starborn Baby.
How do I start over with a different child?
Choose “Create their sky.” If a saved design exists, select “Start a new sky” in the returning-design prompt.
